Pennsylvania Drug Card and Delaware Rx Card, powered by United Networks of America, Presents Donation to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

For 15 years CHOP has been ranked one of the top children’s hospitals in the United States. Their quality of care, outstanding treatments, beautiful campus, commitment to family-centered care, and revolutionary research makes them truly one of a kind. CHOP is a charitable, nonprofit hospital so philanthropic gifts are essential for providing pediatric medical equipment, critical treatment and compassionate experiences for their little patients. On behalf of Pennsylvania Drug Card and Delaware Rx Card, Allan Browder proudly presented a check for $53,449.60 to Grace Kim, Associate Director of Cause Marketing and CMN at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Since 2015, the United Networks of America partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised over $2.4 million dollars for local children’s hospitals. Of this, $53,449.60 has been raised for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania Drug Card Presents Donation to Penn State Children’s Hospital Hershey Campus

Pennsylvania Drug Card had the opportunity to tour Penn State Children’s Hospital Hershey Campus and present a donation in the amount of $7,690.20 along with several books for the Child Life Program. This facility began in 1963 with a “$50 million dollar phone call” from Milton S. Hershey. He offered the $50 million donation for Penn State to establish a medical school and teaching hospital in Hershey which saw the first patients in 1970. Pennsylvania Drug Card Presents Donation to Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital

Pennsylvania Drug Card recently toured the Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. At that time, a check was presented in the amount of $10,047.45.  These dollars are necessary to fund the child life programs which make it possible for children to experience the joys of childhood while in the hospital. In 2016, Geisinger had more than 430,000 pediatric patient visits. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Receives Support from Pennsylvania Drug Card and United Networks of America

Pennsylvania Drug Card Presents Donation to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Pennsylvania Drug Card presented a generous donation in the amount of $34,531 to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). CHOP is the nation’s first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. Since its start in 1855, CHOP has grown to provide treatment to families from all over the world for complex medical conditions. Today, CHOP has more than 1 million visits per year and is also home to the largest pediatric research facility in the United States.
