Pennsylvania Drug Card Presents Donation to Penn State Children’s Hospital Hershey Campus

Pennsylvania Drug Card had the opportunity to tour Penn State Children’s Hospital Hershey Campus and present a donation in the amount of $7,690.20 along with several books for the Child Life Program. This facility began in 1963 with a “$50 million dollar phone call” from Milton S. Hershey. He offered the $50 million donation for Penn State to establish a medical school and teaching hospital in Hershey which saw the first patients in 1970. A donation is made to the local CMN hospital each time a prescription is processed through Pennsylvania Drug Card.   Pictured: Erika Zaborny, Associate Director, National Partnerships, Children’s Miracle Network and Heidi Barousse, Program Director, Pennsylvania Drug Card
